Shall we dance?

This Sunday, for our Children's Bible School Program, I shall teach the kids this song and its dance steps (of course, not the steps you've seen in the video above as I am going to teach children of ages 5 to 12) for the upcoming Christmas Party in our church on Dec. 23. Yes, I'm one of the three teachers assigned to teach the kids every Sunday and share my "little" knowledge about the bible, its passages and stories. It's my first time to experience something like this and I'm very grateful that I was given the opportunity to be used as an instrument for the kids to learn more about Jesus and His words.

And my prayer? Lord, guide me in every way so that the kids may see You and not me and learn more about You and how great and loving You are. Please give me the wisdom and all the patience I need to endure kids who stubbornly throws tantrums left and right. Thank you and I love you so bad. Amen. Hahaha. ;-P

Friday Weddings: Unveil it!

     Veil is most likely seen worn with wedding dresses. For me, it adds drama and elegance on the whole look of the wedding gown. Whether it be short or long, with laces or stones all over it depends on the bride. Even veils nowadays are too stylish and has its own distinctiveness. I personally would want my veil with laces and a vintage(ish) feel to it covering my entire look all for the sake of drama. Hahaha!!!

Today, our church, Jesus Christ The Prince of Peace celebrate its twelfth (12th) year Anniversary. This year's theme is READY TO HARVEST! "Restrain your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears; For all your work will be rewarded." -Jeremiah 31:16

This is gonna be my first time to celebrate our church's anniversary and I'm so excited and my heart is filled with so much joy, happiness, love and hope for the church. Hope that our church will grow to be more stronger than ever because we have JESUS CHRIST with us all through the way.

Happy Kid!

I never thought October would be this too exciting for me. All just because two of my most favorite TV series, The Vampire Diaries on its 4th season and Merlin on it's fifth installment, aired their pilot episodes respectively this month so freeaaakkin' awesome! I'm one super happy kid!♥ Yay!☺

Though my being team Damon failed at once, I'm still uber fine with Helena ending up (as always and as predicted) with Stefan. I liked and loved Stefan first anyways. And will always, always have. ;-) It's just that I feel sorry for Damon. *Sigh* Well.. we will never know that for sure. I know there'll be more unexpected twists and exciting scenes and episodes to await this season, just like how Helena turned into a vampire! Ooopsie! Spoiler alert on the loose! Hahaha!!!

And to those Merlin fans, finally the young warlock is here! He's back to entertain us again with his antics, amaze us with his magic powers and most of all, touch our hearts with his genuine friendship with Arthur. I truly love this show! Plus, having Mordred and Aithusa on the show will surely bring more spicy intriguing issues with their characters and more magic on the fifth season.


And who wouldn't get hooked and fall to these four gorgeous men??? Tell me, tell me!!! Hahaha. :))

The worst part of having a very good memory especially when it comes to dates, birthdays, anniversaries and celebrations would be this, when you suddenly remember that it's the twelfth of October and hit you so hard and you realize that its just now a painful memory of the past that you must, MUST forget. ;'(

But then again, though yesterday was a bit dramatic, I am still happy that I had finally remembered it without so much pain in my heart unlike last year. I guess that's how you move on, you try to accept things, you give yourself time to cry your heart out until you're finally okay and the next thing you'll know.. you'd be able to remember everything in the past without noticing the smile on your face--you're free, baby! Free from all the pain the past has poured you on.

So yesterday, I did something crazy! Because I am so over him and had finally moved on, I sent the "ex" a text message! Hahaha. ☺ For the record, we are still friends. In fact, I still consider and will always have consider him my BESTEST FRIEND. Di ba, Ian? ;-)

Seriously, people? This Cyber Crime Prevention Act Law 2012 (Republic Act 10175) will only amount to harm and suppress our free speech which our Constitution, by the way, gave us the right to express whatever opinion we have freely! FREELY! Freedom of expression nga eh, di ba? This is Cyber Martial Law! Somehow, it's like a form of bullying in itself! Ano, sila lang ang may kapangyarihan? Tsk. Tsk.

To whoever crafted this bill and to those senators who voted to pass the Cyber Crime Law bill, they're bullying the citizens of this country. They're taking away the essence of our freedom of speech and curtailing basic freedoms of any democratic government. Goodness!!! So kung ganyan lang pala ang mangyayari, saan tayo pwede mag edsa revolution sa Facebook? Tanong lang.

Haaayy, kawawa ka naman Juan, wala ka na ngang malamon, ayaw ka pa nilang pagsalitain! Yan ba yung sinasabi ng presidente na tayong mga Pilipino ang BOSS nya??? Tsk. Tsk.

How could these politicians think they're doing something right? Ang dami talagang alam ng mga Senador natin na to. Pink is my top favorite color of all. And, I've collected a bunch of my favorites here, with a preference for the outrageous. Let's face it--choosing a colorful wedding gown is a little outrageous as it is! What I seriously wanna know (and I am so intrigued) is why these are wedding dresses and not just evening gowns? *thinking* Is it the style? The fact that grown women don't normally wear pouffy ball gowns as evening wear? Or just the amount of adornment and detail? Adding a veil, of course, distinguishes it right away!

Sixty Random Things About Me

My high school friends and I were supposed to go on a Boracay Trip for this month in celebration of mine and Wella's 27th birthday. Unfortunately, due to "Habagat" typhoon, it was unanimously decided to cancel the trip and have it on December or some time next year.

So today, I decided to spend my 27th birthday helping out our Head Pastor and few other members who willingly gave their hands, too, in renovating our humble little church. This church improvement that we are currently having at the moment are preparations for the upcoming 12th anniversary of our church, Jesus Christ The Prince Of Peace.

For the very first time in my 27 years of existence, this was the most memorable birthday I had. Though there was nothing so grand happened, unlike from the previous birthdays I've had, this was a lot different. Way, way different. I felt like I was doing something BIG. Something enormously special. I was like doing something with a purpose. With a cause. A cause for Jesus Christ. For my savior and healer. And, it felt so nice. Surprisingly nice.

For my birthday, I only wish to give back all the thanks and glory to God who gave me the privilege to worship and praise Him and who gave me the right to become His child.

Sixty Random Things About Me

She turned eighty-four last June. She's the most caring, thoughtful, and loving mother of six and an extra sweet grandmother to all her grandchildren. Elena, that's her name. Lola E to some people but to her family, she is our "Nanay Elena."

Almost all of us, her granchildren, grew up in her care to which explain the closeness we have with her. I even claim to be a "Lola's little girl" instead of being Mama's girl or Daddy's little girl. She is my second real mother. In fact, she has been our second mother, literally, for six years now since my parents went abroad. She took good care of me and my little sister. She was always there for us. She never failed to be there and assist and prepare all our needs. She truly is a very good person and has a genuine heart as big as you can imagine. I love her like I've always have for my mama.

If I grow old someday, I wanna be like her, a devouted mother and grandmother, very loving, kind, extra sweet and super thoughtful. Always there for her children and her family. May the Lord bless her with good health, peace of mind and a happy heart.

I love you, Nanay Elena! You're the best Lola in the whole wide universe! :)

I don't easily get bored especially to things I truly love doing. Ako yung tipo ng tao na hindi madaling magsawa. And it doesn't mean that I'm afraid to try new things. In fact, I love changes. For the past one and half year, I've gone from long wavy brown(ish) hair to straight red hair to long curly hair back to straight shoulder length burgundy hair again with bangs to medium bob cut light brown hair and now to a super, super short black hair. See, I'm not afraid to change. =) Sometimes I call it "bravery." Hahaha! Bravery my ass! LOL.

Seriously, these are the things, places, movie or food or just anything under the sun that I would never ever get bored to do:

1. Even if there are a bunch of new Italian resto to try, nothing beats my favorite Baked Zitti in Alfredo or white sauce in Sbarro. ;-)
2. I would never ever get tired to listen to Sunday Morning of Maroon 5, Sleep All Day by Jason Mraz, Ocean Drive, High and Free of Lighthouse Family and Alanis Morisette's Head Over Heels. Old school is cool! Hahaha!
3. The movies I've seen for more than five times already: Shakespeare In Love, Under The Tuscan Sun, Runaway Bride, While You Were Sleeping and Never Been Kissed.
4. Ordering Cheeseburger meal in McDonalds.
5. Ang walang kasawa-sawang Gambazetti sa Bigoli, Seafood Marinara sa Napoli's, Cheese/White Cheese Pizza sa Sbarro, Caramel Macchiato or Raspberry Currant sa Starbucks, Burger Steak ng Jollibee (haha), Bunch of Lunch ng Shakey's (haha), Whopper Jr. meal ng Burger King at Pork Tonkatsu meal na may kasamang order ng California Maki at extra veggies ng Tokyo Tokyo. Hahaha! Gluttony at its finest!
6. At kahit usong uso na ang pirated DVDs na nabibili sa Quiapo at nagkalat kung saan saang tiangge, uso pa rin sakin ang pagrent ng VCD or DVD sa Video City. Hahaha! Actually, ang dami kong membership cards nila kasi lagi kong nawawala. Tapos at the end of the day, makikita ko nasa drawer lang pala. I have more than 10 membership cards, tatlo nasa wallet ko! Bwahahaha!!!
7. Magpicture! Hahaha. Self-confessed camwhore queen! ;p Pero hindi ako photogenic ha! Feelingera lang. lol
8. Red nails on my feet. Most of the time laging red lang talaga ang kulay ng polish ko sa paa, if not, pink.
9. Monggo sprout or Toge at Adobong Manok. Hindi ako magsasawa sa dalawang ulam na yan, PROMISE! Hahaha. ;D
10. Manood ng mga series at Koreanovelas. :P

I often received a lot of comments before kay ex-boyfie kung hindi raw ba ako nagsasawa (mapa-pagkain o kahit sa anong bagay) and I always replied, "Hinde, bakit naman ako magsasawa?" Eventually we end up separating ways..ayun, nagsawa siguro sakin! Bwahaha!!! Ang mahuli magsawa, talo! LOL ☺☺☺
